To better understand variation in N content and soil nutrient parameters within communities that support the Karner Blue Butterfly in the Albany Pine Bush Preserve and to establish a target range of N levels for restoration efforts, soils will be sampled from 10-20 target communities. Standard nutrient analyses will be performed on four A and B horizon samples from each site.
