Information Technology Services (ITS)

Provides students, faculty, and staff a wide variety of computing services designed to optimize the educational experience. ITS is located in Steinmetz Hall.

Peschel Computing Center (ITS)

Housed in the Stanley G. Peschel Center for Computer Science and Information Systems, Union's computer center is the home of a distributed network that provides access to varied computer resources, including seven DEC Alpha servers, a Sun system running Unix, and three Windows NT servers.

There are more than 1,000 personal computers and workstations on campus. The network is the backbone for much of the computing on campus, including academic, research, and administrative work. The network links classrooms, office, laboratories, and all College-owned residence hall rooms. The College has many electronic classrooms that are used to enhance the academic program.

USTAR offers help on removing computer viruses and also offers other technical support.

USTAR (Union Student Technical Assistance Resource)

Located in Olin Learning Center (Room 219) is the USTAR office that is dedicated to increasing technical awareness on campus. USTAR offers virus and other computer related technical support.
