FRACTALS

In Spiral Symmetry (Hargittae and Pickover, World Sientific, 1992, p.135) I published an article, "The Evolution of a Three-Armed Spiral in the Julia Set and Higher Order Spirals". In this article I showed a picture of the first Double Double Spiral (DDS) found in the Mandelbrot set. A DDS is shown in the figure below.

Other images can be found The Pattern Book, Fractals, Art, and Nature, edited by Clifford Pickover and published by World Scientific. My pictures are shown in "Evolution of Spirals in the Mandelbrot and Julia Sets", p. 331. Sixteen spiral images of different complexities are shown and there is a table that lists the positions of each spiral so investigators can bring them up on their screens.
